He was moderating a roundtable on bots, blockchain and digital security
Alejandro Dominguez, our Director of Innovation, recently appeared in the second edition of CIBECOM, the Iberoamerican Summit for Strategic Communication in Madrid. He was the moderator for a roundtable entitled “How to integrate Blockchain, Smart Data and Bots into organizations” together with guest speakers Oscar Kaufmann (Director and Founder, StreamicsLab), Alejandro Moreno (Global Strategy and Operations Director, Rebold Intelligence) and Arancha Martínez (CEO, ComGo.io and It-willbe.org).
Alejandro is a specialist in corporate, strategic and digital communication. He regularly appears in the media as a specialist in social networks and he has worked on clients such as Google, Nike, Manchester City and Pepe Jeans.
He commented on the importance of the roundtable: “Disruptive technologies like blockchain, that give us a chance at disintermediation, greater transparency and transaction tracking, the ethical use of managed accounts (bots), and the challenge of converting big data into smart data to generate knowledge and insights for our campaigns, are all innovations that will transform our industry. As such, it is essential that we understand them, are aware of their power and know how best to apply them, in order to successfully integrate them into our organization’s communication.
CIBECOM is the principal forum for those in charge of corporate and institutional communication in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking world. It is organized by Fundacom and Dircom (the Association of Directors of Communication) and its themes centre around the latest communication trends that help organizations grow. The second edition was celebrated this year in Madrid on 8-10th May 2019 with the theme of “Technology, Emotion and Adaptation: The foundations of a new world”.
